The Smart Money Woman by Arese Ugwu #BookReview
It’s been a long time since I read a book like this and in less than 24 hours!
Cover to cover, it was thrilling, and Tami, a character from the book was like a best friend to me, I don’t know if it was my hunger for a sweet gist or just my introverted ways looking for an escape.
The book had a very non-conventional writing style and a lot name dropping, it somewhat reminds you of sex and the city but if their accountant kept a shady diary, documenting their bad ways, lol.
It’s exciting to see, the topic of finance in a Nigerian context that is fun to read and almost 100% relatable; I mean earning 600k to 3 Million Naira per month is a dream come true for me. Talking about finance or money with family and friends is an unwritten taboo; everyone is suffering but “God Dey”, abi?
A key focus point that was discussed in the book.
